David Tait

Founder and Publisher of Mandarin Matrix, David has many years of publishing experience at a senior level. Prior to forming Mandarin Matrix he was Managing Director of Edinburgh Financial Publishing Asia from 1996 to 1999. Before working in publishing he served in the Royal Navy between 1983 and 1993.
Jo Allum
Director of Publications & Rights Director
Jo has a First Class Honours degree in Forensic Science and a postgraduate diploma in English and Hong Kong Law. Jo has overall responsibility for all products published by Mandarin Matrix.
Yin Dalu
Director of Translation Services
Yin Dalu is responsible for directing translation services. He started his career as a professional translator in 1980, and in the early 1990s, he joined Bear Stearns’ corporate finance department. He has been with Mandarin Matrix since 2005.
Aisling Quinn
Senior Business Development Manager
Aisling is originally from Northern Ireland. Her career as a Food Technologist and latterly as Procurement Manager for several FTSE listed companies changed direction in 2008 when she relocated to Hong Kong. She is now a Senior Business Development Manager for Mandarin Matrix.
Dan Stephenson
Operations Director North America
Educated at the University of Utah and Tsinghua University in Beijing, Dan lived, studied and worked in Beijing for almost 10 years, learning Mandarin and founding several companies during that time. Dan runs the Mandarin Matrix North American operations and office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bonnie Zhang
Business Development Manager
Bonnie Zhang holds a Bachelor Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a Master Degree in Chinese Linguistics and Language Acquisition from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Susan Keating
Business Development Manager
Susan moved to HK from Ireland in 2011. Susan worked with KPMG and System Dynamics in Dublin as an IT Consultant. In 2012 she worked as an EA in the ESF system and moved to Mandarin Matrix in 2014 to work on the Mandarin Matrix Online Classroom.

Dorothy graduated with a Master’s Degree in Chinese Linguistics and Language Acquisition from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Wuhan University. She brings her rich knowledge on Chinese linguistics and language acquisition to the Mandarin Matrix team. Dorothy is responsible for editing the materials for primary students’ learning Chinese Mandarin.
