Zhongguo Mingren
A factual series of biographies about key figures in China’s history, created by Martha Keswick and designed for Middle School children learning Chinese language and culture.
The series starts with biographies of Deng Yaping, Yuan Longping and Yao Chen and will soon grow to include Yu Hua, Dai Ailan and Xu Guangqi, with other famous people from the world of Arts, Science and Sport to come
To encourage children to improve their vocabulary, the book contains only Chinese text in the main part. However, they can reference detailed Chinese/Pinyin/English vocabulary lists for reference at the back.
